The concept and stone work in Mt Sommers Limestone is mine: Earth, Sea and Light are figuratively visualised in form colour and illumination. (halogen light) The customised slumped glass bowl is by Carolyn Pillans. www.glassart.co.nz
In colour and effects she has captured the primal nature of the sea, with glimpses of the teaming life it contains.
A solid base of composite rimu block shaped by Craig Shanks of Timber Expressions, Blenheim, anchors the work.
